Batch picking
Batch picking: multiple orders in one run.
Instead of walking the warehouse order by order, you collect multiple orders in one run. Every pick goes into the container of the right order, and the scan confirms it. It cuts walking exactly on the days it gets busy.

How a batch run works
From a stack of loose orders to packed parcels, in one route through the warehouse.
Pick the orders for this run, or bundle them by walking route. Singles and multi-line orders can be batched separately.
Each order gets its own bin on the pick cart. Cart and bins carry a barcode, so the system knows what goes where.
You walk one route past the locations. Scan the product, scan the bin: the scan confirms the item lands on the right order.
Because every pick is already tied to an order, each bin ends up filled for exactly one order. No sorting afterwards.
Bin by bin to the pack station. Packing slip and label roll out, the order is ready to go.
Where batch picking makes the difference
Three things that make order-by-order picking expensive, and what changes with batch:
Batch bundles the orders so you walk the warehouse once instead of per order. Fewer steps, same output.
The scan ties every item to its bin right away. Wrong bin? Beep and stop. There's nothing left to sort or fix afterwards.
The scan-flow drives the route and confirms every pick. Anyone who can scan can pick, without knowing the locations by heart.
What's in the batch flow
Everything you need to pick multiple orders at once without mixing them up.
Container per order
Each order its own bin on the cart, with a barcode. The scan ties product to bin, so you pick multiple orders at once without mixing them up.
Batch singles separately
Put single-line orders in their own run and pick them in bulk, apart from the multi-line orders. You choose the split per run.
Scan-to-pick
Scan confirms product and location. Wrong SKU or wrong spot: beep and stop, no mispick coming back as a return.
On your phone
The picker flow runs in your phone's browser; the camera is the scanner. No app to install, no separate scanner hardware, no device licence.
Pick carts with a barcode
Link a cart to a run with one scan. The cart tracks which bins belong to which orders until you finish.
