Pick & pack

Pick and pack that runs on a scanner, not on paper.

Tremo makes picking and packing scannable, mobile and batch-friendly. Scan picklists, containers and carts. Packing slips roll out at the pack station. The result: fewer errors, less walking, less staff per peak week.

The scan-flow, step by step

Four moments in a packer's shift where the scanner takes over the work.

01
Scan your pack station

At the start of the shift you scan the barcode at your station. All prints come out there, all picklists are routed to you.

02
Start a batch-pick

Tremo collects 10-30 orders in one run. Your cart gets a container per order; scan to start.

03
Pick & confirm

At every location the system tells you what to grab. Scan the product and the container — beep on a mismatch.

04
Print & ship

At the pack station the slip rolls out automatically. Scan the shipping label and the order is done.

The problem with paper picking

Paper picklists lead to four patterns every growing operation knows — and ultimately stalls on.

  1. Mis-picks only discovered by the customer

Every item scanned before it goes in the container. Wrong SKU? Beep and stop. No more mis-picks coming back as returns.

  2. One order, one trip through the warehouse

Batch-pick collects multiple orders in one run. One container per order, scan confirms which order it belongs to. Cuts walking on peak days.

  3. Printing a packing slip requires switching to a PC and choosing manually

PrintHere at the pack station: scan barcode → packing slip rolls out of the printer. No dialog, no printer choice, no PC switch.

  4. When the regular packer is sick, everything stops

Scannable work is transferable. A temp worker is scannable within an hour. The system drives the flow, not the person.

What the scan-flow does

No dedicated picking device needed. Works on a regular smartphone with the camera, or a simple Bluetooth scanner.

Picklists + containers + carts

Every physical entity (list, container, cart) has a barcode. Scan to start, scan to hand over, scan to confirm.

Batch-pick with sort confirmation

Multiple orders in one trip. On each pick the worker is told which container it goes into.

PrintHere at the pack station

Local print client at every pack station. Scan the station barcode at start of shift and every packing slip + label rolls out without a dialog.

Mobile-first interface

The full scan-flow runs in a smartphone browser. No app install, no device licence.

Location suggestion

The system points to the closest pick location with stock. Pickers follow, no thinking.

Inline return flow

Scan a return, pick a condition, stock correction happens with audit-log. No separate returns software needed.

Frequently asked questions

For floor managers, packers and owners.

What scanner hardware works with Tremo?+
Three options. (1) Smartphone camera (free, fine up to 100 orders/day/picker). (2) A € 30-50 Bluetooth handscanner (Eyoyo, Inateck) — works directly with the smartphone as keyboard input. (3) Existing Zebra/Honeywell rugged scanners that support HID emulation. No separate driver or app needed.
Does it work offline?+
Briefly: yes. Scans are queued locally and synced when wifi returns. For a fully offline warehouse we recommend a local alternative — we're a cloud product.
How fast does a new packer learn this?+
A temp worker is scannable on standard pick-flow within 30-60 minutes on average. The UI says 'grab X from location Y' and 'put it in container Z'. No software training, just warehouse layout.
How exactly does PrintHere work?+
PrintHere is a small app that runs at the pack station (Mac, Windows, Linux). You pair it once with your Tremo via a pairing code. After that it picks up print jobs automatically and sends them to the right local printer (label roll, A4, both). No browser dialog anymore.
Can I enforce FIFO or FEFO in pick order?+
Not yet in automatic pick order. Batch number and expiry are captured at receiving and shown per location; the audit log shows which batch sits where, so you can steer expiry-critical work.
How are returns handled?+
Return scanning is part of the same scan-flow. Scan the return label or packing slip, pick a condition (A/B/C grade or scrap), stock correction is instant. For B-grade you can configure a separate stock location.
