What exactly is warehouse software?+

Warehouse software (also called a WMS or warehouse management software) drives the physical flow in your warehouse: where a SKU sits, in what order you pick, which carrier a shipment gets and which packing slip and label roll out. Tremo does this for the SMB segment, without the price tag or implementation timeline of an enterprise system.

Do I need warehouse software or is my shop plugin enough?+

A shop plugin tracks stock but knows nothing about locations, pick order, batch runs, multiple warehouses or shipping rules. As your volume grows it starts to hurt: you mispick, lose traceability and hire staff for manual work. Warehouse software picks that up.

Does the scanning work on my phone?+

Yes. Scan picking runs on any smartphone through the camera, you don't need a separate handheld scanner. Want to connect a dedicated scanner anyway? That works too. Every scan confirms the right product and the right quantity.

Can a product sit in several locations?+

Yes. One SKU can sit in several spots across several warehouses, spread over the inbound, storage, picking and shipping zones. The picker sees which spot and scans it. Multiple barcodes per product (unit, box, pallet) count the right quantity on scan.
