GLS

GLS integration

GLS labels straight from your own MyGLS account.

For online stores and fulfilment companies with their own MyGLS account. Labels and return labels straight from your pack flow, no separate GLS portal.

Free up to 100 pick lists a month · No credit card · Your data, exportable

From order to GLS parcel

Five steps between a pick list and a parcel at GLS.

Step 1
Order ready to pick

Pick list is ready, shipping profile points to GLS

Step 2
Picker scans the order

Batch-pick or single, scan confirms every item

Step 3
Weight and product checked

Tremo checks the weight against the parcel limit; GLS picks the product itself based on the destination country

Step 4
Label prints automatically

The label prints at your pack station in the format you chose

Step 5
Return? Same connection

A return label points to your return address instead of the customer

Where a GLS shipping process gets stuck

Four pain points we hear from GLS shippers, and what Tremo does about them.

GLS means logging into a separate MyGLS portal

Connect your own MyGLS username and password once; after that Tremo creates every label straight from your pack flow.

Shipping an over-limit parcel gets rejected after the fact

Tremo checks the weight against the 32 kg parcel limit up front, so you never pay for a failed request.

GLS returns still need to be arranged separately

Tremo creates a GLS return label that points to your return address instead of the customer, with the same duplicate-label protection as a regular shipment.

A double click on the label button can create a duplicate label

A built-in duplicate-label check makes sure a repeated request never buys a second, paid label.

What the GLS integration does

Directly on your own MyGLS account, no aggregator in between.

Labels from your pack flow

Every shipment gets a GLS label as soon as you finish the pick list, in the label format that fits your printer.

Automatic product choice

GLS picks the product itself based on the destination country; you don't choose a product code.

Weight checked up front

Tremo checks every shipment against the 32 kg parcel limit before the label is bought.

Return label to your return address

A separate, isolated return path buys a label that points to your return address instead of the customer, with the same protection against duplicate labels.

Never a duplicate label

A built-in duplicate-label check makes sure a double click or a failed attempt never buys a second, paid label.

Your own connection, encrypted

Your MyGLS username and password are stored encrypted; a portal API key and a separate customer number are only needed if GLS assigned them to your account.

Frequently asked questions

What we hear most often about the GLS integration.

Do I need a GLS account already?+
Yes. The connection uses your own MyGLS username and password. Without an active GLS account you can't create labels.
Can I cancel a GLS label?+
No. If you make a mistake, you create a new label instead.
Can my customer choose a GLS parcel shop?+
No. The shipment goes to your customer's delivery address.
Does the return label show the customer as sender?+
No. GLS has no separate sender field: that always shows your own MyGLS account address. The return label does point to your return address instead of the customer.
Does my customer get a tracking link?+
The GLS tracking number is on every shipment, so you can follow the parcel at GLS.

Ship straight through GLS.

Connect your MyGLS account and print your first label from the pack flow. No credit card needed to start.
