Marktplaats integration

Marktplaats ads straight from your product data.

For sellers who want to advertise on Marktplaats without maintaining a separate ad admin. This is an ad feed, not an order integration: orders don't come back through this channel.

Seven mechanisms that together decide what does and doesn't land in your Marktplaats ads.

What the Marktplaats integration is for

You want to advertise on Marktplaats from the same product data as your other channels. This is what Tremo does there, and what it doesn't.

Keeping ads on Marktplaats up to date is separate manual work next to your stock

Switch on the publish toggle per product in Catalog. Marktplaats' own ad system (Admarkt) reads the feed daily, so you never type anything twice.

A glitch in the feed should never pull down all your ads

On a temporary error, Tremo deliberately sends no feed at all, so Marktplaats keeps showing your last known ads. If legitimately nothing is enabled, the answer is empty, never an empty ad file.

Not every product should be allowed to advertise itself

Tremo checks each product for active, an EAN or barcode, and a price above zero. Want to advertise used items only? Exclude 'new'. If a product doesn't qualify, you see the reason on the channel.

You want to see the integration works before you go live

Switch on test mode: every ad arrives paused at Marktplaats. Read in, but not visible, until you turn it on yourself.

What the Marktplaats integration does

An ad feed built from your Catalog data. No orders and no stock sync through this channel.

One feed URL with its own token

Marktplaats' Admarkt system fetches the feed daily through an unguessable token URL. No login, no separate password management.

Publish toggle per product

Only products you explicitly switch on for this channel end up in the feed. Nothing appears automatically just because it exists.

Eligibility checked automatically

Active, an EAN or barcode, and a price above zero are required for every ad.

Condition translated automatically

Your own condition values (new, grade B, grade C, damaged) map to Marktplaats' new/used split.

Empty-feed protection

A glitch or a legitimately empty result never pulls down your existing ads. Tremo tells 'temporarily nothing to report' apart from 'send an empty file'.

Status reported back per product

Every product gets a publish status and, if rejected, the reason. Visible on the channel in Catalog.

Frequently asked questions

What sellers ask us most before they turn the feed on.

Do my Marktplaats sales come into Tremo?+
No. This is an ad feed (Admarkt): Tremo supplies product data to Marktplaats, not the other way round. There's currently no separate integration for messages or transactions.
Do I need to pick a Marktplaats category per product?+
Not yet. You currently set one main category for the whole feed; a category per product isn't built yet.
What happens when I switch a product off?+
Turn off the publish toggle and the product drops out of what Marktplaats receives on the next feed fetch.
Can I test this before my ads go live?+
Yes. Test mode sets every ad to paused. Marktplaats reads the feed in but shows nothing until you turn test mode off.
What if my feed is temporarily unavailable?+
Marktplaats then keeps your last known ads. Tremo deliberately sends no empty file on a failure.

Turn on your Marktplaats feed.

Pick your products, set your main category, and let Marktplaats read the rest daily. Free up to 100 pick lists a month, no credit card.
